Well, not much going on today...My hub will be back tomorrow can't wait, I have missed him. I have no thoughts to ponder today, I am at a loss, my mind is mush! So, this post will be short and sweet! Have a great weekend!

Another day...

Well, my hub is out of town and we had a huge power outage in our area that lasted almost an hour! Do you know your cordless phones are pretty much useless in these occasions, I think we need to have handy an old corded phone for emergencies like these. Luckily my cell phone had a few lines left and my son had just fully charged his or we would have been in trouble! When I called the electric company they had a lame recording about the unusual temperature were the reason for the black outs in all of the North Texas area and that everyones electricity would go out for a minimum amount of time and that all would be restored by 7 pm! yah right, unusual temperatures!! It's always this hot this time of year, get out of here! Well, they were true to their word and the power was back on before 7. We had dinner in the oven though and it didn't get done so we had to trek a few miles to the nearest Mickey D's that had power! THe kids were happy about that, I would have rather had a steak, but oh well, we survived and I guess it could've been worse!
