Oh, how could I forget our Mattie! She's our oldest and in her last year, her big SENIOR year at Brigham Young University. She graduates in April with a degree in English. What's she gonna do with that you ask? We don't know either! ha ha...
She eventually would love to be a film critic, but with her diploma at hand she may just become an editor for a publishing house. Who knows, the sky's the limit! I know she'll be successful in whatever she does, after all she is her mother's daughter!

UPDATE
Oh for the love of...Ok, I get it...I haven't updated in a while. Sheesh...I don't know how the other writers do it, with blogging, and keeping up their writing, and their websites, and critiquing, etc. It's takes up a lot of time, and I just don't seem to have that lately.
We've been busy ever since we got back from California. We are going to put our house up on the market, once again. The last time was six years ago, and a week before Sept. 11th. We had our house listed for almost ten months with no takers, it was very discouraging. But, it's a new time, a dawning of a new age. Our home, although older, is fixed up a lot more than it was and we have a new realtor, a close family friend who seems to think she can sell our house. So, we have been busy decluttering, taking things to storage, painting, laying tile, decluttering, etc.
It just seems to go on and on. We clean out one part of the house to find things we need to fix up some more! ARGH! I just want to sell this time around and really want the house to be show room ready. Professional maids are coming at the end of the week, so hopefully the $250 bucks they charge will be worth it to make the house sparkle!
Mattie is home for a visit, and the one buggin me to update, I know, I know! It's been fun to have her home, hope it was for her as well. Kids are all back in school, yeah! Seems like it will be a good year for all of them, Marin is in 4th grade now (only two more years of Elementary school!) She's got a sweet, young teacher, and her best friend is in her class, Caulin is in his first year of middle school and is still the "big man on campus" his popularity still in tact, like he was in 5th grade, and he's enjoying band and his science class. Cameron starts his jr. year at the Senior High, and seems to be happy with it, and may get a new job at Target, he's working part-time right now at Kroger, but want's something that pays a bit more.
Dave is doing much better since his little minor surgery, and feeling a great deal improved. and I'm still here, plugging along, and trying to write, and work and be a wife and mom...it can get tough in the trenches, but it's worth it!
