Well, gosh...my little baby, my sweet little girl who it seems I just brought home from the hospital yesterday has turned 20 yrs. old...and it seems to be a big deal to her but not as much to me.
Maybe because, I've watched and seen her grow and mature and I am very pleased and happy in the way she has turned out. She's a good girl, full of fun and sweetness, but she's also serious and intense at times. Always an over achiever, she's going to school and making something of herself. What parent wouldn't be proud of that, but most importantly she knows who she is and what she stands for, that is something to be most happy with and proud of.
I am nostalgic when I think of her growing years and full of all kinds of emotions when I think of certain events or incidents that have marked her's and my growth. She was my first born, and the one I had to learn all my experiences of parenting on...poor thing. She taught me well, and hopefully in turn I have taught her. I love her and am so glad that she's not a kid anymore, but a young woman, that I can begin to relate to as not only my grown daughter but a peer. I look forward to her adulthood!

Yes, I'm older and it's good. And, no I'm not serious... Anywho, here's my comment... now it's time for an update! Love ya,
Mattie
Yeah, at least I updated, you haven't updated since forever!
Hi L,
I loved this entry. It makes me wonder what my little girls will be like at 20.
And congratulations to you on your 20th anniversary as a mom! No small feat :-)
